Large Animal

Bradshaw Veterinary Clinic Large Animal offers mobile and on-site appointments as well as 24 hour emergency service for equine, bovine and small ruminants. Equine services include preventative care, vaccinations, reproduction services, lameness exams, pre-purchase exams and dentistry. Cattle services include dairy production management and herd health, reproduction services and dairy consulting (milk quality, nutrition, calf management, facility design and cow comfort). Our facilities are equipped with stocks, a working cattle chute, comfortable stalls, holding pens and pastures along with portable endoscopic and diagnostic imaging equipment.

Nor-Cal Lab is located inside our large animal building providing milk quality and bacteriology testing.

In response to client demand, we have produced an equine first aid kit. This kit contains wrap supplies, stethoscope, thermometer, oral electrolytes, wound cleaning supplies, and a handy information card. The kit retails for $50 +tax, and is sized perfectly to attach to a saddle. Call (916) 685-4673 to purchase one.
